About
Welcome to Lalangas Family Dentistry! I am thrilled to have opened my own private practice so I can serve the North Dallas community that I grew up in and love. I know how hard it can be to find a dental practitioner you can connect with and trust for your entire family. My goal is to make you, your kids, your parents– whoever it may be - feel informed, empowered, and cared for while we work together to create a custom plan for your optimal oral health – just like I would do for my family.
My passion for dentistry started when I was young and self-conscious about my crooked front teeth. After getting braces, I realized that dentistry transformed not just my smile, but also my self-confidence. I knew in middle school that I wanted to be a dentist and never looked back! I am a Dallas native, having graduated from The Hockaday School. I completed my Bachelor of Science with Honors at The George Washington University in Washington D.C. and came back to Dallas to attend Texas A&M School of Dentistry (formerly, Baylor College of Dentistry). At graduation, I was selected by my professors as The Eleanor Bushee Senior Woman Dental Student for my academic excellence and leadership capabilities. My education doesn’t stop there; I am constantly taking new courses to keep abreast with the latest and greatest in dentistry!
My husband, Gavin, and I live in North Dallas and have two spunky daughters. When I am not practicing dentistry or attending continuing education courses, you can find me cheering on the sidelines of the soccer fields and basketball courts or playing chauffeur for my kids’ social lives! We love spending time outside, taking family bike rides or walks to the park. I look forward to welcoming you into my dental family!
We made the switch to Dr. Lalangas’ office last year and honestly, it’s been amazing. I’ve had a fear of dental work for years thanks to some pretty bad past experiences, so the fact that I actually like going here says a lot. The front desk is super organized and always on top of things—if there’s anything weird with insurance, they reach out before the appointment, which I really appreciate. And appointments? Always start on time. I barely have time to sit down before they call me back. The hygienists are awesome—really gentle, thorough, and just great at what they do. And Dr. Lalangas? She’s fantastic. She lets you know what to keep an eye on but doesn’t push stuff you don’t need. When I did have to get a couple old fillings redone, it was hands down the easiest, least painful dental work I’ve ever had. If you’re even a little nervous about going to the dentist, this is the place to go. Can’t recommend them enough.
It was on the best Dental Places I had visited so far
Dr Lalangas knows her patients. She is an independent dentist that practices where she lives. Her level of care reflects that she lives in the community and works on her family, friends, and neighbors. Her office is spotless and has a friendly staff that is tentative.
Lalangas does a great job. They make sure I’m comfortable and take great care. Thank you!
The receptionist Rachel was very friendly. Rocio was very gentle with my teeth when cleaning. I know I had a lot of buildup, so I don’t think it’s easy to clean like this. Dr. Lalangas and Rocio thoroughly answered all my questions about my teeth. This is the place to go to.
I absolutely love Dr. Tina and her entire staff! They are all professional, friendly, kind and compassionate. I wouldn't want to go anyone else!
Such a warm and kind vibe at this office. I had to reschedule my appointment twice and the front desk was so kind and understanding. My dental hygienist put me at ease and made me feel like I was family. Tina Lalangas is clearly intelligent, professional and vested in finding affordable options for the referrals I need. All in all, the people at lalangas really care and remind me of the dental office i went to as a kid - a place they remember your name. This is a major contrast from one of the new hip places where you feel like you are being herd like cattle. Thank you!
I had the Worst Dentist experience of my life! The dentist is malicious; she put a sharp tool in the top crown area when she was supposed to work on the bottom crown before she started working on the bottom crown. Now, I have an infection on the whole left side of my body, and doctors are checking for paralysis. I am on antibiotics right now! I knew when it happened because I checked with the office where she was supposed to be working before bottom crown replacement at tooth 17. She did not tell me the location during the cleaning and exam visit when she wrote up the crown. Her office sends flyers out through the post office to get business, and if they were honest, they would not have to. She does things to get more money!
Ever one very friendly and professional This was my first visit and they were honest in the valuation of my teeth.
