I really enjoyed my visit at Professional Dental Care. The staff was so friendly and welcoming which eased my anxiety about being in the dentist office. The doctor was very informative about my oral health and set goals to help me get back on track. His assistant was also helpful and informative about my oral hygiene as well as the hygienist who made me feel so comfortable without judgment!! I highly recommend this dental office as well as the cleanliness throughout the building.

I went in with really bad tooth pain due to my wisdom tooth growing in. I also went for a checkup since I was a new patient to this office. The dental hygienist made a rude comment about the condition of my teeth as she was checking my gums. Unfortunately I do not recall her name. Later, the Dr came in to discuss my results and do his own checkup. The dental assistant made a backhanded remark “she says she’s flossing SOMETIMES”. The tone was just so disrespectful and ugly. The same dental hygienist came in and made ANOTHER backhanded comment “I came in not thinking it wasn’t going to be so bad but then I was like oh my gosh”. Regardless of the condition of my teeth, the dental teams job is not to make the client feel more scared or feel bad about it. As mentioned, my bottom back wisdom tooth is coming in so I cannot shut my jaw entirely. The Dr asked me to try to close my mouth but I told him AGAIN that I cannot because it hurts too much. He then proceeded to say “I could’ve sworn you closed it earlier.” Indicating I was lying about my pain. He asked how was I eating then and I said I can’t. Towards the end all he said was “I don’t know how your going to eat or what your going to eat but all 4 wisdom teeth need to be extracted.” Yes I engaged positively because unlike this team I am not rude nor disrespectful and I do want to learn more ways to benefit the health of my teeth. No I did not voluntarily schedule a following appointment for fills (which was not a highlighted topic in the overview with the Dr by the way). When I went to the front the dental assistant said to the receptionist “schedule her”. As the seen patient I could fully comprehend the details of the conversation, the tone of the visit, or the clinical recommendations made. Whoever is responding back WAS NOT. There was no compassion or no recommending of any medicine or foods I should lean towards to lessen my pain. Not once was he concerned about my pain levels. I understand I am an adult & have not visited the dentist in a while, but there was an extreme lack of genuine care towards me as the patient. All the team did was make me feel horrible and worried about my results.

In over 30 years of going to the dentist I finally found somebody who is very professional and informative. They listen to concerns and take all health precautions necessary to have amazing results. Feels good to finally trust someone!
