The people of Smile by Design are First Class-kind, professional, clearly understood- especially for the disabled community. I love them!

Let me preface this review with the following: I hate dentists. I believe that they are all Nazi interrogators that ask, "Is it safe?" (watch Marathon Man, kids). That being said, I actually felt as at ease as one can be in a dentist's office. The staff is very warm and Michael is very friendly before he leads you into his interrogation room. The office accepts insurance (I hate places that don't do their own billing and instantly black ball them), and Mary is excellent at working with you beforehand on line-item pricing and payment options. She makes you almost feel comfortable paying for your indolence and neglect of your teeth. I came in for veneers and am very happy with Dr. Choi's work. His specialty is in cosmetic dentistry and it really shows. My veneers feel natural and look like a dentally diligent person's teeth. Thanks to Michael, I am less insecure about myself (I guess I'm healthier too, or something; it's really a secondary effect).

Dr. Choi and team are great. Painless and you get the crown on the same day. No more temporary crowns!

Dr Choi and his staff are amazing! I have been going to Smile by Design dentistry for years and had three implants and other major restorative work done by Dr Choi. I can attest that he is a very knowledgeable, highly skilled, meticulous, and friendly doctor. I have rarely experienced any pain in all of the implant procedures that I had which included gum surgery and bone graft, and the recovery was fast too. All of the staff members are also very friendly and polite, the office atmosphere is relaxing, and all of the equipment is state-of-the-art. I had many problems with my teeth, so I tried numerous dentist doctors in the past but so far Dr Choi is the best doctor that I found!

It was a pleasure meeting Dr. Choi and his staff. They are nice and professional. Dr. Choi is an incredible dentist who did my implant in about 30 minutes. What else can you say about a dentist who has performed over 10,000 implant cases? He is also a very personable and generous person. I went for my implant consultation back in July of 2015. His staff took a full mouth Xray and bite registration. Afterwards, Dr. Choi discussed with me all of the necessary procedures that I need. He was very patient in answering and addressing all of my questions and concerns. Although it was not feasible for me at that time to have the implant, no fee was charged. This generosity made me remember him, and it was a big factor in deciding to have my implant done at his office. I would highly recommend Dr. Choi to anyone who needs high quality dental works. I will definitely go back to Dr. Choi to complete my other dental procedures. Thank you so much Dr. Choi.

I have had many wonderful experiences from Dr. Choi's office, and that is a miracle in itself since I dread all dental work. I typically have to take a sedative to just get a filling. I recommend his office for anything from cleaning to the major stuff. I have sent my husband and a couple coworkers here and they too were really pleased. His office is immaculate, his staff is professional and they all have amazing energy that makes typically crappy dentist visits tolerable.I found his office online when searching for a specialist to correct my jaw pain. In the last year he has replaced a previously faulty implant another dentist placed, placed a new one that was needed as well as taken care of sensitivity via adding some light bonding. I highly recommend Dr Choi and his staff to anyone, not just the picky patients like myself!

I have been seeing Dr. Choi now for close to a year, and I’m at the end of a long and arduous full mouth restoration. I interviewed several Dentist/Prosthodontists to do the work, and after much research and investigation on the subject of orthodontia, crowns, and veneers, I finally settled on Dr. Choi. It was quite a leap of faith because I literally knew nothing about him prior to meeting him other than from reading his reviews, which I always take with a grain of salt. My first impression of him was that he was friendly, professional and seemed well educated in his field. His office was clean, his staff very friendly and welcoming, and his equipment state of the art. There was a slight language difficulty at first, (he is of Korean descent) but that ends quickly once you get to know him and learn his speech patterns. Now that his work is almost complete, I am happy to say that I am very pleased with the outcome. In short Dr. Choi is excellent at what he does. He is a good listener, pays attention to detail, and in my opinion is a skilled artist in cosmetic dentistry. My teeth and bite are perfect now and I would recommend him to anyone.

My experience with Dr. Choi and everyone that works at Smile By Design in Irvine was absolutely excellent.
