Over the years, I have consistently had positive experiences at Smile Coconut Grove. The wait times for appointments are minimal, and the staff is consistently friendly and professional. My hygienist provides exceptional care during every cleaning session. Dr. Chevrel has been exceptional with my veneers, and I am very satisfied with the results. I highly recommend this office and its staff to anyone seeking quality dental care.

My experience with this dental office was disappointing and frustrating. While the cleanings were okay, the issues with the office staff and their faulty text/email reminder system made the entire process unbearable. My appointments were repeatedly canceled without notice—no phone call, no explanation—because their system wasn’t functioning. I had to call and reschedule every time, yet my husband’s appointments were never canceled. Adding to the frustration, my husband, who is the dependent on our insurance, was treated like royalty by the office staff, while I, the insured, was consistently dismissed. During his last appointment, they treated him without verifying insurance coverage. Meanwhile, my last appointment was canceled less than 12 hours in advance because they decided to check my coverage and realized they were no longer in-network. Over the past two years, my appointments have been canceled at least four times, and I was never offered a solution or rescheduling options. It felt like I had to beg for basic care. To top it all off, the office staff seemed to prioritize male patients and even behaved flirtatiously with married men. If you’re a man, this might be the perfect dentist for you. However, if you’re a woman—especially the insured one—expect to be treated as less important. Good riddance to this office. I would never recommend it to anyone, unless you’re a dude and are into the flirty secretary routine.
