Tried to sell me on doing fillers on FAKE cavities. I felt like something was suspicious so I went to my original dentist back in Austin and they told me i have ZERO cavities and a healthy set of teeth. DO NOT GO HERE AND DO NOT LET THEM PRESSURE YOU INTO DOING FILLERS THE SAME APPOINTMENT.

Absolutely do not recommend. Customer service was fine, but their billing process is suspicious. I scheduled a routine exam and dental cleaning. Which has always been covered completely by my insurance.. I get there and they tell me (before I’ve seen anyone) that I’m being charged $80. When I asked what for, the front desk couldn’t give me a direct answer and told me to speak with the dentist. We are reviewing the scans and she makes the comment about having AI identify potential issues. Cool, not much to see there. THEN she proceeds to say, “I also go behind and look because it doesn’t catch everything”….. ooookay. Result: She told me I needed SEVEN fillings. I was just at the dentist 6months prior. I’m not new to visits. I kindly declined, paid my $80 and left. I did not schedule a follow up or anything. Oh, after looking at the bill, the charge was for the fluoride….. used to clean my teeth….. that’s included…. in the dental cleaning…………. And no, I did not request or consent to anything extra. Fast forward to ONE year later, I just received an email that I have an outstanding balance of $75. There has been no other communication about a balance, unpaid insurance, etc. Again, not complaining about the customer service- they were nice. But I will not be returning.

**Beware of this office** I recently had a working interview and was offered a position. I kindly declined the offer and Dr. Sly refused to compensate me for work already completed. After reading the other reviews I wish I never even applied there. So beware if you apply for a job there you won't get paid & she'll just block you from contacting her.

Loved my experience with Dr Sly. She was very patient, friendly, and paid attention to all of my concerns. Her staff was very welcoming and pleasant too. Overall great first experience.

Dr Sly is an excellent dentist! I have had three appointments thus far, and I have been fully satisfied with each. I found the staff to be very professional and friendly. My appointments have all begun on time, and I was kept very comfortable throughout. Dr Sly is highly skilled! Her equipment is state-of-the-art, too! I wanted a Black woman as my dentist, and I have found that with Dr Sly. I am very thankful that I found Dr. Sly’s practice!

Been coming to this dentist office for years now and I love Dr.Sly. Very gentle and thorough Plus we love a black owned Woman owned business !! Great staff and hospitality here they definitely give a warm welcome each time. That why I always come back 10/10!

Warning! This office collected an estimate up front and after insurance paid, my son had a credit on his account. AFTER MONTHS OF REPEATED REQUESTS FOR A REFUND AND PROMISES TO SEND THE MONEY FROM THEM, THEY HAVE YET TO REFUND HIS CREDIT BALANCE!!!! This is shameful and disgusting. Dr. Sly basically retained $130 that she should have returned to its rightful owner, a 23-year-old. Do the right thing Dr. Sly and issue a refund. How many other people have credit balances you are not refunding? Sounds pretty sly to me. 4/16/25-Since I can't respond to your response, I will put my response here. He tried to call your office a couple of hours ago and went straight to voicemail (not the first time). My hope is that tomorrow someone from your office will return the call and finally refund him what you owe him so this issue which has been ongoing since November can finally be closed. 4/18/25-You still have not returned his phone call. Do you really want to issue his refund? You suggest he call your office that you are more than willing to assist him. He called on 4/16 and several times before over the prior months and you have not. You even asked for his Zelle information because you said you couldn't issue a credit card refund or cut a check. He provided this in January, 2025 and still no refund. Are you actually going to refund what you owe him?

I had zero issues and have now found a new dental home!!! Great service from Dr. Sharell and her assistants. They took their time to do good work! The receptionist did a good job of making me aware of my benefits and sending appointment reminders. The office is nice and in a very convenient location off the freeway. I highly recommend them!!!
