To be Totally Honest, I was intially very greatful to have found them on a Wednesday afternoon at 4:30pm, I found their website on google while sitting in traffic in Sarasota with excrutiating pain in the right side of my upper mouth, Cathy the receptionist was beyond sweet and understanding of my desperation, she called me back within 10 mins to let me know they would wait for me to arrive (5:15pm, they're open until 7pm om Wednesdays lucky for me), so again Highly appreciative of that accomodation, considering I was a New patient, I was still an hour away and it was 5:30pm. Cathy was just as kind and understanding in person as she was on the phone, Alyson the Hygenist (I believe) was also very sweet, very sympathetic, listened well to all of my complaints and concerns, and was very knowledgeable and informative. My experience with the Doctor was horrible! His forst question was what brought me in, followed by a few other medical history questions, he stated that he overheard that I had another unrelated medical procedure done the week prior, and asked me what that was and what did they give me for pain, I answered both questions, His behavior or manner with me was that of a practitioner suspicious of a drug seeker, I was starting to feel as if I was being profiled/judged after that I didnt feel that he was LISTENING to my complaints, or taking me serious, when I voiced multiple times that I had NEVER felt a pain such as the one I was experiecing that day. I didn't get the slightest bit of sympathy from him, When I asked him what he thought was causing the pain, he kept recommending root scaling and planing for periodontal disease that I was ALREADY aware of and had been diagnosed with a year prior to seeing him, which never caused the slightes discomfort, nonetheless pain of any kind or to that magnitude, which lead me to ask again if based on all of the xrays and the physical examination of my mouth, was there ANYTHING else that he felt could be causing this terrible unbareable sudden pain, I asked, perhaps a Cavity or an Infection, to which he said no to both!!! But I just couldnt understand how the sudden onset of excrutiating pain, would have been my periodontal disease, (if u research this and even on his consent forms for such procedure it is stated that periodontal disease RARELY ever causes pain. He was short & brief and said that they would gladly make me a priority for the next day IF I decided to have the procedure he recommended, I mentioned to him that due to the aforemention medical problems the week before i really wasnt in the best position to be asking for more time off of work, i asked if Saturday was an option or the next wenesday late evening hours, would prob be best, and that in the meantime what should i do about the pain, he said he could not write a narcotic prescription without justifiable reason to (guess pain wasnt justification enough) i booked the appt for the next day at 2pm. Needless to say that the pain persisted and even worsened after I got home, at about 2 am in pain desperately begAn to examine my own mouth using a mangifying mirror, I happen to discover a hole in my right upper tooth!!! How this was "overlooked" is dumbfounding. I arrived at 2 pm the next day, to find The doctor working the Front desk, he was sure to collect my out of pocket cost of $153.00 up front, and provided me with all necessary consent forms, before I signed I told him that I had discovered a Cavity, he gave it no importance and shrugged it off with a, "well, we will get a better look when we are in there". A few minutes later I was called back to the exam room, he asked if I had any questions once again I asked if he would be addressing the Cavity today as that is what I felt was of priority now that I had discovered it and considering the symptoms of pain in the same area and sensitivity to cold, he stating well that would be extra money and continued preparation for the scaling procedure and at this point hasnt even looked at the cavity, he informs me that he will be starting the numbing process

Dr. Navidomskis and his staff are very kind and caring. They use all of the latest tools and practices. I had X-rays, my teeth cleaned and fillings. My teeth have been sensitive, so Dr. Navidomskis developed a treatment plan for both the immediate problem and future prevention. They even checked up on me after I had work done! We are lucky to have Dragonfly Dentist in the Port Charlotte/North Port area. Are you looking for a Dentist? Give Dragonfly Dental a call. You won't be disappointed!

I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. It's a connective tissue disorder. Other dentists in town wouldn't even do a consultation with me, they didn't want to "take the chance". This doctor sat down with me and explained things and LISTENED to my concerns and addressed every single one of them. He was AWESOME

My mom and I have found a dentist we can trust! Dr. Matt Navidomskis takes the time to listen to your needs and helps you set a plan to achieve your dental goals. He is gentle but thorough. They don't lecture you like other dentists and hygienists do... which I appreciate. He is an artist in his ability to fix damaged or cracked teeth. His staff is terrific also. Cathy makes setting appointments and insurance easy. If you are afraid to go to the dentist, you do not need to be any more. Dr. Navidomskis and his staff will make you feel comfortable and welcome.

My family used this dentist when we were down in the area early this year and had a wonderful experience. They were able to get us in and were very kind and informative. Now that we are returning to the area, we plan to make Dragonfly Dental our primary office. I have nothing but good things to say about them.

I am so happy to be able to recommend the Dragonfly Dental office. The staff are so friendly. From the time you walk into the office you are made to feel very comfortable. Dr. Matt is so nice. Takes so much time to explain things. He is unlike other dentists I had gone to before. I will tell everyone I know about his practice. Port Charlotte is Lucky to have you. Thank you Dr. Matt.

Dr. Navidomskis is a Great Dentist. Excellent dental work and always painless. I really like how he explains everything he's about to do. His dental hygienist, Alyson is very pleasant and helpful too. I don't usually like to make recommendations, however, with Dr. Navidomskis, I do not hesitate to highly recommend him. So happy for my family to have a new dentist! Thank You Dr Navidomskis and staff, I know you will do very well in your new office. Kim Cornwell
