Dr. Akinwande and her staff are wonderful! Nicole at the front desk is fabulous! Whenever I have had an issue they have gotten me right in. Dr. Akinwande is incredibly professional and treats her patients with care. She has had to in detail discuss my issues and refer me out for a few procedures. I trust her completely. You could not ask for a better dental practice or dentist.

This is the most comprehensive initial oral exam I’ve ever had. While I pride myself on being 65 years of age with all my natural teeth - including wisdoms - I must admit to being a bit embarrassed at seeing the flaws reflected on the screens generated by the pictures the assistant/hygienist took during the almost 45-minute process (which I’m also embarrassed for complaining about). In the end, though, it proved worthwhile, as during the next 45 to 60 minutes, Dr. Kolade Akinwande took great care flossing, cleaning and polishing my teeth (the reason for this visit), and then explained what the pictures on the computer showed, as well as what I needed to do to maintain good dental hygiene. In the end, from Nicole, with whom I scheduled the appointment, to the assistant/hygienist (apologies for forgetting her name), to Dr. A., everyone at Open Smiles Dental, is absolutely awesome. Thank you all, and see you next visit.
