About
Welcome to Lalangas Family Dentistry! I am thrilled to have opened my own private practice so I can serve the North Dallas community that I grew up in and love. I know how hard it can be to find a dental practitioner you can connect with and trust for your entire family. My goal is to make you, your kids, your parents– whoever it may be - feel informed, empowered, and cared for while we work together to create a custom plan for your optimal oral health – just like I would do for my family.
My passion for dentistry started when I was young and self-conscious about my crooked front teeth. After getting braces, I realized that dentistry transformed not just my smile, but also my self-confidence. I knew in middle school that I wanted to be a dentist and never looked back! I am a Dallas native, having graduated from The Hockaday School. I completed my Bachelor of Science with Honors at The George Washington University in Washington D.C. and came back to Dallas to attend Texas A&M School of Dentistry (formerly, Baylor College of Dentistry). At graduation, I was selected by my professors as The Eleanor Bushee Senior Woman Dental Student for my academic excellence and leadership capabilities. My education doesn’t stop there; I am constantly taking new courses to keep abreast with the latest and greatest in dentistry!
My husband, Gavin, and I live in North Dallas and have two spunky daughters. When I am not practicing dentistry or attending continuing education courses, you can find me cheering on the sidelines of the soccer fields and basketball courts or playing chauffeur for my kids’ social lives! We love spending time outside, taking family bike rides or walks to the park. I look forward to welcoming you into my dental family!
Wonderful and welcoming staff! My whole family goes here now :). The hygienist are very thorough without making the experience unpleasant. We feel like we get the deepest clean and best experience. For anyone that doesn’t have dental insurance the clinic offers their own insurance plan for patients and it is a great deal especially for self employed. I recommend Tina to everyone !
A very enthusiastic welcome. I needed a crown. A portion of a tooth had broken off. Called for appointment and received one early next morning. Dr Lalangas, the dental assistant and receptionist were all very friendly and caring. Temporary crown made. Was warned that the tooth was short- be careful waiting for permanent crown. It came off when I put on my night guard. I called the next morning , Dr Lalangas put the temp back on but said she was concerned that I might continue to have similar problems during the interim period. She voluntarily suggested calling lab and having permanent crown expedited. She did and the very next day the office called to say the crown was ready. I returned and the permanent crown was placed. Throughout I was impressed with the professionalism, expertise, caring and warmth. I am most impressed and appreciative.

Lalangas Family Dentistry is the best!!!! My experiences have been pain free while getting my teeth cleaned or filling cavities!! Very professional staff that gets you in and out much faster than other offices.

Above and beyond! Brought my 5,3 and 1 yr olds in to establish care and everyone in the office was incredibly accommodating (helped me fill out my intake information because my hands were so full!). Very child-friendly. Options for movies on the ceiling and a treasure chest with safe toys for them to play with during the exam. Dr Lalangas was amazing: thorough yet efficient which I really appreciated. We can’t wait to come back for your next visit!
