About
Welcome to Lalangas Family Dentistry! I am thrilled to have opened my own private practice so I can serve the North Dallas community that I grew up in and love. I know how hard it can be to find a dental practitioner you can connect with and trust for your entire family. My goal is to make you, your kids, your parents– whoever it may be - feel informed, empowered, and cared for while we work together to create a custom plan for your optimal oral health – just like I would do for my family.
My passion for dentistry started when I was young and self-conscious about my crooked front teeth. After getting braces, I realized that dentistry transformed not just my smile, but also my self-confidence. I knew in middle school that I wanted to be a dentist and never looked back! I am a Dallas native, having graduated from The Hockaday School. I completed my Bachelor of Science with Honors at The George Washington University in Washington D.C. and came back to Dallas to attend Texas A&M School of Dentistry (formerly, Baylor College of Dentistry). At graduation, I was selected by my professors as The Eleanor Bushee Senior Woman Dental Student for my academic excellence and leadership capabilities. My education doesn’t stop there; I am constantly taking new courses to keep abreast with the latest and greatest in dentistry!
My husband, Gavin, and I live in North Dallas and have two spunky daughters. When I am not practicing dentistry or attending continuing education courses, you can find me cheering on the sidelines of the soccer fields and basketball courts or playing chauffeur for my kids’ social lives! We love spending time outside, taking family bike rides or walks to the park. I look forward to welcoming you into my dental family!
Dr.Lalangas and her staff are amazing! My stepson (8) who was terrified of the dentist had zero tears for the first time and felt so comfortable. He can’t wait to go back! I came here during an emergency dental situation based on a recommendation from my wife. My family has been seeing Dr Lalangas for a long while but I had been using a different practice that was closer to my workplace in the midcities. Despite not being an existing patient, Dr Lalangas was able to treat my illness on very short notice during the holiday season, whereas the practice I had been using was unreachable even through an answering service. A root canal was needed and she provided me with a great endodontist for the initial procedure and then she and her team performed the crown implant with skill. Very professional, responsive and a great place for family dentistry!
Dr. Lalangas and her team are phenomenal! Very accommodating, attentive, and professional. From setting up my 1st appointment, explanation of my benefits, to the actual treatment. Despite living in San Francisco I still go see Dr. Lalangas every year when I'm back in Dallas to see family! I genuinely look forward to going to the dentist when I go to her office. Not only is Dr. Lalangas (Tina) the sweetest, but her whole staff does such a wonderful job and they make you feel so comfortable!! Could not recommend more
Great office! The staff is very friendly and punctual. The office was spotless. The doctor spent a lot of time explaining everything. She left time for questions and concerns at the end. Excited to have a great family dentist that we trust for our family.
