I made a payment for $350.00 over the phone and all that I requested was a receipt, this was 10 days ago. I was told by LaKishea that she would send me an email receipt today and I still didn't receive it, which is what she told me 10 days ago. I called today and spoke with Eric who sent me a receipt instantly and then stayed on the phone with me to confirm that I received it...that's how you conduct business. I feel as though my ask was very simple. Please train your other employees like Eric. I supervise 15 direct reports so I understand firsthand how vitally important it is to stand on business. In response to the reply, it is your staff's responsibility to inform the customer of this policy, instead of stating that she'd send it right over, which is something that Eric did within seconds. Again, my ask was very simple and I am very understanding, had I been told this upfront. My daughter is the client, however the payment came from me. Transparency and ownership is key here.

I had such a great experience here last week! I came with a ton of questions because I need some major treatment, and Doc took her time and explained everything to me! She made me feel comfortable, and I can’t wait to start getting my smile back together! Thanks again!

I have had nothing but great experiences at Herman Park Smiles. Dr. Sly and her staff are very knowledgeable and are always professional and courteous. Great location near the medical center with no issues finding parking.

This business did not pay me for billable hours, beware. The owner is rude and slanderous.

Booked a teeth cleaning appointment over the phone and paid the $50.00 new patient deposit. Drove an hour through Houston traffic and arrived for the visit. The lady at the front desk told me my balance was $100.00. I have insurance that cover 100% of the teeth cleaning and Xrays, why do I owe $100.00 an I haven’t been seen? She tells me because the Dr. use CT scanning and she will not see me unless I pay the additional $100.00. I refused to pay the extra money, and she refused to see me while keeping the deposit. This is the first dentist I’ve ever been to that required payment for a preventative service. Please read her reviews on YELP before going to this place. Also, research google for dentist that require CT scanning on patients. If she was such a great dentist she wouldn’t need deceptive practices to succeed in her career. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Just because it is black owned does not mean you should support it. The Doctors professionalism is non existent. Exhibit A. Look at her responses to the negative reviews. The way she treats her staff and patients is not how someone should run their business. I am surprised she is still in business and not had any BBB complaints. Please don’t waste your money on this place. They take payment before doing work. No other dentist office I have been to has ever done that. You pay an absurd amount to sit for 2 hours then get called back to have xray pictures taken and no cleaning. When originally a cleaning was set up. Got hit with a big bill with nonsense charges. Avoid this place at all cost and avoid the Doctor. Your last name fits perfectly with how you run your business. SLY. As in sly as a fox
