Did an excellent job at stopping the pain.

I visited River Falls Family Dental in July of 2022. I was looking for a new dentist since the dentist I had been seeing for 30+ years retired. He was an excellent dentist who continues teaching at UofL dentistry. I was told by River Falls Family Dental that for $99 I could get an exam and my teeth cleaned. Oddly, I was required to pay in advance of my visit, which seemed unusual. After an examination I was told they could not clean my teeth. I was told of many problems with my teeth. Really! I have never missed a dentist appointment in my entire adult life and had never been informed of problems with my teeth. I was told I had gum disease which would require periodontal scaling, I had six teeth which required fillings, I had three upper teeth which needed to be extracted and replaced with a bridge or implants. We are talking about thousands of dollars and 4 to 6 months of work. Wow. But I had been seeing an excellent dentist for over 30 years, how could this be. I called my old dentist’s office (his son had now taken over the business) with this information. They disagreed with the prognosis based on my history and recommended other opinions. I called River Falls Family Dental and requested my x-rays so I could get a second opinion. I went to another dentist with many years of experience and took him the x-rays. His first comment was in the full scan I wore my eyeglasses which is a no-no, and any x-ray tech should know to have you remove your glasses. He disagreed with the recommendations of River Falls Family Dental. My teeth were fine. They cleaned my teeth, which is all I needed. Six months later I went to another dentist which is now my current dentist. I did not inform him of my experience with River Falls Family Dental. I did not want to influence his exam. This dentist took x-ray’s and examined my teeth and did not have any recommendations. They cleaned my teeth and said keep up the good dental hygiene. Based on my experience I would not recommend River Falls Family Dental. I am glad I sought more professional opinions.

First visit to this location and great experience so far. The staff that helped have been pretty friendly.

I used to hate to go to the Dentist!! All that changed when I met Dr. Williams and his excellent staff!! Everyone there is super friendly and easy to work with, but the most important thing is that things get done and done properly with no pain!! To me that's the highest compliment anyone can pay a Dentist and Dr. Williams certainly deserves it!!

I have always felt uncomfortable going to the dentist. My visits with Dr. Williams has been nothing but pleasant and pain free. They have been extremely convenient when it comes to setting up an appointment or even having to reschedule an appointment. The office staff is always courteous and greets me with a smile. Thank you all for being so awesome!!!!

Always friendly and inviting.I have been getting botox and juvederm for over a year now and have great results. The extra time and care I receive will always keep me coming back! The dental hygienist are gentle and very sweet ladies.
