I didn't have a good experience. They didn't take my insurance, but I really wanted honest help and care after 10 years of prioritizing family care over my own. After 1.5 hours of exams/xrays, I was presented a detailed $7k plan of what I should do with them. I was overwhelmed and upset (and also uncomfortable with how impersonal the experience was especially with open rooms that don't close there was zero privacy during a personal medical conversation?). I was so confused and had to leave for work, and then was charged more more than the initial $150 I paid, an additional $139, for a total of $339. No cleaning - exams and xrays. I will not be going back, felt led on and overcharged, and do not recommend this business.

Me and my husband went in for routine dental work, x - rays, and questions about my husband teeth. From the time I call the office to make an appointment…up until the day of the appointment the staff members were friendly and welcoming. In all my years of going to a dentist I never met a dentist that was so caring, understanding, and did everything the could to make sure their patient left happy. Dr. Sly and her team are truly amazing. My husband needed more dental work then me so I let his appointment take priority over mine. While waiting on my husband the staff gave me check ins on his progress and ensure that I was okay. Me and my husband have found our dentist after searching for awhile. I highly recommend Hermann Park Smiles office. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

It was the best dental experience I have had!! Getting my tooth pull with no pain or discomfort!! I even got to listen to my music through the process!!! Sharel Sly DDS is the best in Houston!!

Dr. Sly has been my dentist for almost 6 years now. She's amazing and helps me to take great care of my teeth. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my teeth! Also, her staff is very warm and welcoming. Love the feasibility of scheduling appointments and the appointment text reminders. I would recommend Dr. Sly to anyone who's searching for a quality and caring dentist!

Wonderful experience! From the start, Jessica was great with our phone conversation. Candace helped me with my directions when I got turned around. Walking in to the office, the vibe was amazing! Dr. Sly and Eric worked with my son, accommodating all his needs. All of my questions were answered and the vibe here gives a sense of family. They genuinely care about their patients. Go to reviews sort by lowest, don’t get fooled by the fake reviews as I did. Their Business Practices are horrible! I drove all the way from Spring, Tx with the intention of support black owned businesses. I called and scheduled a cleaning and exam for my first visit. I verified that my insurance was accepted while confirming the appointment with the scheduler. On the day of the appointment, I was told X-rays and photos “were needed” and then the cleaning and exam…again I asked if this was covered under my insurance plan, again I was told yes. I was a bit taken back by having to pay the bill prior to receiving the service but disregard. My insurance later issued me a check and said I was billed incorrectly. When the dental office called inquiring about an unpaid amount I was perplexed because they wouldn’t start the service until I paid, so I called the insurance again. Again, my insurance said I don’t owe them anything. Apparently the young lady at the front desk no longer works there yet the dental office proceeded to sent the bill to collections. Not worth the hassle

Dr Sly and the staff are awesome. She does a great job. They always make me feel comfortable and they provide a very relaxing atmosphere.
