I had the most pleasurable dental experience wit Dr. Sly. Usually I'm shaking like a leaf even before a Dentist touch me. Well as soon as i sat in the chair the assistant gave me the remote to the TV and said to make myself comfortable. When Dr. Sly arrived she had the prettiest smile and very delightful bedside manners. I was looking at rhe sitcom Frazier as we chatted about the episode. Then she began my exam, during the exam she still was discussing some of her Ole time sitcoms on Nick at night, I smiled. I am so amazed at her touch and professional skills because no Dentist on this side of Heaven has ever had me that comfortable without giving me a sedative. Dr. Sly has blessed and anointing hands as a Dentist. She gave me her expert opinion on how I should proceed with my dental needs and gave me a recommendation of a Dentist to follow up with in Dallas. Yes that's right I went all the way to Houston to get Dr. Sharel S Sly's expert dental opinion on my dental care and it was worth the trip. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Sharel S Sly, DDS. I had such a great experience at my first appointment with Dr. Sly and her team! Everyone was friendly and very professional. They explained everything as it was happening, thoroughly answered my questions, made suggestions as needed and created a detailed treatment plan for my upcoming visit. Although the office was a bit far from me I’m so happy I made the decision to chose Dr. Sly for my dental health. The office is very welcoming and doesn’t feel or smell like a traditional dentist office. Dr. Sly is detailed and patient. I already love my new dentist!

Office is nice, staff friendly, great location. Left feeling unsatisfied however and unsure about returning. The technician was training and I was exposed to several X-rays bc the trainee had trouble with film placement. Cleaning was satisfactory at best and slightly painful. I have a fear of dentist for this exact reason. However, I have had great cleanings done that were not painful. Seems as though the structured, efficient team flow was lacking. Also, office requires 48 hr cancel or charges you. 3.5 stars.

I needed an urgent dental appointment in the Houston metro area. My booking was stress free online. Paperwork and verification were fast. Practice was easy to locate and a 3hr free parking was available in a large parking lot opposite the practice on Almeda. Office was clean and serene. Front desk personnel was respectful with all smiles. Imaging was fast and the dentist listened and reviewed my dental need with me and gave the best recommendations and treatment options. Very few medical practitioners are good listeners in this country. Dr Sharel was helpful.

We have never experienced a situation like this with any dentist. My husband was told prior to filing down a tooth that the cap which would be placed would be covered by insurance. As he sat in the chair for his cap 2 months later, he was told it was not in fact covered. We received a bill for $2400 and the denial claim cited “improper documentation”. The provider stated she “spoke with the insurance company”. As healthcare providers ourselves, we perform peer to peer reviews with insurance companies following a denial, and they are very straightforward, so this did not make sense. Regardless, we paid the bill for this seemingly necessary procedure, but will not be returning here. Hope this does not happen to anybody else.

Best dentist I’ve ever been to!I absolutely HATE going to the dentist but I needed a root canal bad, So I came here. absolutely ZERO pain.. did I say ZERO? Lol. On top of that, there has never been a wait when I come. All members of her staff are kind and very friendly. Doc Sly is a great, highly educated dentist and has great bedside manner too. You got a patient for life Doc. Keep up the Excellence!!

The staff was friendly & so was the Dr. The parking is free as long as you park in there designated area, but I went because they do ozone therapy.
